In Exeter, Andover, Lawrenceville, etc. how clean are the showers? Are they completely private, or is there a glass door where everyone can see you? What about the gym showers?
The gym showers at Exeter, at least near the pool, are like a cattle room where there are just row and rows of shower heads.
Dorms at Exeter have showers with white curtains. They’re clean enough.
At Andover, dorm showers either have curtains (in larger dorms) or may be in private bathrooms (smaller dorms). Depends on the dorm. The locker rooms have several showers separated by walls and curtains.
Isn’t privacy an issue in Exeter’s gym showers?
Grow up in Europe, or join the military. One gets over the “privacy issue” in public showers very quickly. While most showers as US BS’s are stalls with a curtain or door, there are exceptions. Trust me, the other kids are too worried about themselves to be looking at anyone else.
I’m sure that accommodations are made for students who desire privacy.
True that… My dad went to a British BS… Told me horror stories in an attempt to make me reconsider BS…
