Hi CC!
I know that there is nothing like a needed percentile to get into any of the HADES or GLEDCHEMMS schools. However, some percentiles may affect an individual’s application negatively. For example, we always hear that a score above the 85th percentile is needed for it to not affect one’s application negatively; but if a student who is not a legacy nor a recruited athlete scores on the 85th percentile, will it affect him or her negatively? Would he or she have to retake the exam?
First let me say this : 85 percentile is an awesome score and kudos to you…And I doubt it will hurt your application as long as you don’t have anything else dragging you down
However, if you think that you can score better and it is not a problem for u financially I think you should retake it, bc the higher the score the less it will hurt (or the less chance it will have to hurt u) (:P)
@Atria Thank you very much for your answer! By the way, shall I look at my percentiles that are only for girls, or shall I look at the one that includes both genders?
And is there rly a big difference between them… A couple percents don’t matter and these percentiles change continuously (and are averages) so use them as a loose guideline.
