<p>Hey everyone, well I’m about to start my Junior Year but I wanted some input from the community as to if I’m on track for the school I’m interested in. </p>
<p>Right now, the mot prestigious school I’m interested in is NYU Stern.
I’ll list my stats below and if you wouldn’t mind just give me some advice as to improve my chances at success. </p>
<p>3.74 Unweighted GPA
ACT: 28 (Of course am going to re-take and try to increase it).
Honors / AP Courses: Advanced Algebra, AP World History (5)
ECs: Cross Country (9th), Track (9th,10th), Piano (9th, 10th), School Orchestra (9th, 10th)
Other: 5th Grade String Buddy Program (I give free private violin lessons to 5th graders) (9th, 10th)</p>
<p>And now here’s what I have planned for my Junior year:
Schedule: Alg 2, Brit. Lit, Orchestra, Physics, AP US History, Chinese II
Planned AP / SATS Tests: AP US History, AP Micro/Macro Econ (Self-Study),
Possibly will take an SAT Subject Test or two (such as Chinese).
ECs: Cross Country, Track, Piano, School Orchestra,
Other: Continue String Buddy Program, NHS (so will get a lot of service hours through that)</p>
<p>Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!</p>
