Absent for SAT- procedures

Long story short: I switched my SAT I to SAT II, and apparently the change on the website did not go through. So I didn’t get to take my subject tests in June, not that big of a deal to me. However, I was absent for a supposed SAT I exam. What are the procedures I should take?

I tried doing my own research; most of the replies say to not cancel your scores. The CB website also says cancelling scores are only for tests “you take” on the day. However, I saw a CC thread saying that his scores remained “pending” due to his abseence and a reply that said it will remain like that forever.

Can colleges see that “pending” score? What steps should I take?

1) Should I call CB?
2) Should I call CB and lie about my circumstances (saying that I was in an accident) to get a partial refund/change fee for another SAT I test next school year?
3) Should I cancel my scores?

I am asking to be safe before I call (and CB services aren’t open on weekends anyway).

You need to do nothing. Failure to take a test results in nothing happening. CB will provide nothing to colleges that even indicates you signed up for a test. It matters not why you did not take the test.

You don’t need to do anything, and you won’t be getting a refund. Just accept the ~$50 loss and move on.

I called and the representative told me that my fee will apply to a changed date, which is somewhat similar to a refund since I was planning to take it again, obviously. No information was given besides that I was absent.
