Absolutely, amazing baseball play...

I enjoyed watching that. Looks like the catcher did not get the glove high enough, despite all the complaints to the umpire.

Will kids be practicing this maneuver now? I see some broken wrists in the future…

Unbelievable play. i loved watching that - the runner had the best can-do attitude.

I saw this on our local (Chicago area) evening news. Amazing!!

I think if this is practiced, there will be a lot of injured & broken body parts, including possible spinal damage & other things. Definitely NOT something to encourage, but the poor catcher! I’m sure he couldn’t figure out where the runner disappeared to; certainly looked like the runner has great potential as a gymnist. My old BF eons ago was very strong & agile and probably could have pulled something like this off but the average person could get very injured in the attempt.

The best part is how angry the other manager is when the call was 100% right.

There’s actually a scene in Major League II (starring Charlie Sheen) where Omar Epps’ character does almost the exact same thing. It was funny because it was supposed to be so absurd…
