<p>I need to take an AC course next semester. I’m choosing between Education 140 AC and IB 35 AC.</p>
<p>My main concern with 140 AC is the amount of reading/writing, since I won’t have a lot of time for that next semester. My concern with IB 35 AC is the amount of memorization. If you have taken either of these, any feedback would be appreciated.</p>
<p>140AC requires you to also take 1 unit of field study which means you will have to devote 3 hours a week (plus commute) to one of their school sites (not in Berkeley). It’s a really good class but requires the time commitment which seems to be what you are not looking for.</p>

<p>600 pages in course reader. It can feel heavy at times, especially in the weeks with the more boring and difficult to read stuff. But a lot of it is interesting and worthwhile.</p>
