<p>I took the practice test today and I had a feeling that was all it was ( at least the standarized tests). sure A LOT of memory work, but is that what makes this compeititon so prestigious? </p>
<p>Also, The super bowl sucked. it’s all the luck of the draw and it bites if your team doesn’t study</p>
<p>it’s prestigious b/c it includes 10 different subjects. Also, it becomes a real plus if you place in state or nationals in a few different subjects, like math, music, and history, or speech, science, and art</p>
<p>It shows well-roundedness and great dedication. But yeah, it is mainly memory work, but memory alone (except in case of super quiz) won’t get you medals. You need to be naturally good at that subject too</p>
<p>See our team has it set up so different people focus on different areas. I am doing math and astronomy, so I only really study for astronomy. What sucks is that my team is not capable of going to state or national competition and a single individual can’t go on by himself.</p>
