<p>I know that one of the cliche hallmarks of schools is close relationships between faculty and students. Does anyone know of schools that are espeially strong in academic advising? I’m especially interested in any where the students can keep the same advisor for their entire stay there. I’d also like to know of schools that give narrative assessments in place of, or in addition to, grades.</p>
<p>new college in florida only gives narratives…no grades at all! has a high rate of students that go on to phd programs too.</p>
