Academic dismissal

I paid a part of my tuition 3 weeks before classes started and then I went online to get my schedule the day before classes started and it was I am on academic dismissal. Is this possible? Can I get my money back? And if so why did they take so long to dismiss me?

Why are your asking us instead of the school? There is virtually no information for us to go on. Talk to the school.

^^Exactly that.

There could be any number of reasons for this happening. It could be some kind of glitch for that matter. There’s no way for anyone here to know. You need to talk to someone at your school.

What were your grades last semester?

wouldn’t you have already known based on your gpa? i know at most schools if you don’t have above a certain minimum gpa it’s dismissal.

You probably had a cumulative GPA that was too low (maybe for two semesters in a row) and/or had too many Fs or withdrawals from courses. You probably were notified by the school that you were at risk. Does your school have something called “satisfactory academic progress” policy? Read it, if so.
