academic enrichment prgms for UC app?

I looked at the UC app and they seemed really inten on knowing specifically any programs that were meant for “academic enrichment” and “university study”. I don’t think I specially attended any kind of these programs.

what r some examples of such prgms?

would attending a 1 day research seminar(listen to prof and students present their findings) at X university count as such an experience?

What i think they mean is college classes or summer programs that were educational. It’s a good question- I am applying to UC schools and I attented a one day conference about modern genetics. I’m eager to see what others say.

The worksheet says:

List your participation in educational or academic preparation programs that are designed to help students prepare for university study. These programs may include academic enrichment programs sponsored by colleges/universities, research programs and study-abroad programs.

So I agree with taffyrooster that they are looking for specific actual programs. Like a CTY program would be an example. But you want to put your one day seminar somewhere, just to show your interest, so I guess that is as good a place as any. Hours = 6, Weeks = 1 I suppose.

A woman named Ms Sun runs a (paid) service and a blog on UC admissions that often has helpful information. Here is the link to this subject, where she lists many specific examples:
