Academic intensity at JHU?

<p>I really hope that I get into JHU Early Decision and I am determined to go there. Every part of it including their mission, facilities, neuroscience labs, research opportunities, and the urban city, as well as the beautiful campus! My friend/mentor also goes to Med School at JHU, so I hope I get to go! </p>

<p>But one thing I’m concerned about is their famous academic intensity…I’ve heard that getting a ‘C’ there is an “honorable grade”…lol Wouldn’t this affect my chances for getting into top notch Med Schools like JHU Med…or UCLA Med? I heard that the curves are just…bleh…any hopeful advice anyone? x)</p>

<p>C’s@ JHU will not get you into medical school anywhere, not even @ JHU.
That being said, there are pros and cons in every institution. Yes the intensity @ JHU is usually compared to that of Caltec. However it becomes very unnecessary as students usually feel SUPER STRESSED, and complaisant most times.
