I am attending fullerton college and I am not able to run a academic renewal because I didnt meet the requirements. Basically the requirement was to have a 2.50 gpa in the last 12 units I took. I didnt meet the requirement, so I am stuck with a letter grade F in trig. I took trig two years ago and it was my fault for not dropping it. I was wondering if I can transfer my grades to OCC and run a academic renewal there because their requirements are different. I am trying to apply to cal state pomona or cal state los angeles. I have a 2.20 gpa with that F.
That is a question that you need to ask the admissions office at OCC.
You also could ask Fullerton if you can re-take Trig for academic renewal if it is the only class you enroll in that term.
You’ll probably have to take it at the same college where you failed it in order to apply for academic renewal, but do what @happymomof1 said and ask!
