Please anybody who is an Indian student, or well acquainted with Indian high school grading system, please tell me what is minimum academic requirement to get an admission in NYU (polytechnic) school for under graduation? I’ll be really thankful if any body replied.
I’m not familiar with the Indian system, but with domestic or international admissions, there is no minimum requirement (GPA or SAT). There are many other factors that come into play - the essay, the supplementary question, recommendations, income, race, etc
NYU’s average unweighted GPA (out of 4.0) is roughly 3.5-3.6, and the average SAT is roughly 2000-2000 (off the top of my head).
If I want to know what is my GPA, then is there any conversion scheme, like wes, upon which I could rely. Actually, we’ve got grades in CGPAs I.e., upon scale of 0-10.
