<p>Putting aside the school’s prestige, when looking solely at the academic programs themselves, I’m sure that even a less prestigious UC may have a better program than that of the higher ranked UCs. For example, although UC Berkeley may be ranked higher overall and have more prestige, UC San Diego’s Marine Biology beats UC Berkeley’s.</p>
