<p>Hey everyone, i go to myers park high school in charlotte and i was wondering if u guys could give me feedback on what are my chance at being accepted into any ivy league but more specifically columbia. this is my resume:</p>
<p>GPA: UW- 3.82 W-4.9, top 10%
SAT: 2050, ACT: 31
i will have taken a total of 8 APs and 12 IB classes by the end of senior year,
5 APs and 7 IBs by the end of junior year. Scored 4s and 5s on APs and hopefully 6s and 7s in IB exams, and will receive ib diploma. took APUSH and AP English 3 as a sophomore
Im also in Calc BC as a junior
I played on the varsity (top 5 out of 13) tennis team last year, this year and next year.
i also play tennis outside of school 250+ hours just last summer and have won over 15 trophies.
i volunteer at the hospital and at a clinic (300 + hours) (prep work for doctors not the filing gig)
Clubs: VP of Chess (won trophies outside of school and participated in Nationals 3 years in a row), President of Twelve and Quiz Bowl (place 1st and 2nd at events), VP of HOSA (medically related club, and competed at national level), National Honor Society, Make a Difference Club, Young Republicans, Science Olympiads
Also attended SC Governors school for a summer program
Going to attend a medical program at columbia in the summer
Going to do over 150 hours of community service in Peru over the summer (medical help and shelter work)
Do community work at church (100 +hours)
Might attend a medical program in New York or Cambridge
will have 3 outstanding teacher recs that have had me for 2 to 3 years
Played piano since i was 7
The one blemish is that i received at C in French 3 (5 point class) but have gotten an A in French 1,2, and 4(6 point class)</p>
