From my estimates I should be able to pull off for sure: 8300+! Considering this year’s cut off was around 7500, what are my chances, percentage wise for next year? Also I heard next year, due to the larger amount of kids in the HS class of 2008?, that admission to all the UC’s and other colleges will be more brutal, is this a fact?

I don’t think that their applicant pool will change enough to warrent a 100+ hike in the cut off, so you are well off. Also I wouldn’t think that you would get the 500 points from constant moving (usually the 500 is for people who had cancer or had a parent die). You might get 250, not you might not get anything, but it seems that it wont matter much since you have enough anyway. Good luck with your apps next year.

Yeah, you’ll easily get in. In fact, I’m pretty sure you’d be able to get into any impacted major too.

As a student identified as ELC, there will be some UCs that will issue you a letter advising you that you will be guaranteed acceptance to their university should you elect to apply to their school. It is a great gift knowing you have such an outstanding 'safety". UCSD May be one of those schools next year-Yours stats are strong-and should UCSD not issue that letter-you can still apply-and may conceiveably get accepted.Congratulations on doing so well, thus far!..suggestion…stay on top of this w/your GC. One of my D’s friends was eleigible, but staff did not get paperwork in on time, and she lost that opportunity.
