How thick/thin are both the acceptance and rejection letters for HYPMS…?

Both Harvard and Yale send acceptances letters in 9 X 11 Express Mail envelopes that are about 1/2" to 3/4" thick with “CONGRATULATIONS” written across the top – they are hard to miss!

By contrast, rejection letters are mailed in a standard business envelope that contains a single sheet of paper.

Harvard doesn’t send rejection letters. It says so on their website, they do not want to hurt applicants’ feelings even more.

^^ Not true. See: <a href=“Rejection: Some Colleges Do It Better Than Others - WSJ”>Rejection: Some Colleges Do It Better Than Others - WSJ;

I think Yale’s the one that’s more sensitive about its applicants’ feelings…XD

No-- Yale is being cheap-- and using the of being humane…once they reject you they don’t want to expend the price of a first class stamp on applicant.
