When colleges report their acceptance rate, do they factor in Ed acceptAnce rate or just reg decision?

You can find acceptance rates on the Common Data Set (google along with the name of the school) or on the CBs College Search function:

The CDS has a spot for ED numbers, not sure if all schools provide that information.

That’s not what I meant. I don’t need acceptance rates, I want to know how they are calculated. Is ED acceptance factored in to total acceptance?

The ED rate is included in the final acceptance rate as are the wait lists. The total applications are tallied and the total number of offers extend are used.

Where ED rates become important is when you don’t have that separate figure and that figure is significantly higher than the RD rate and when a lot of students are accepted ED.
