Acceptance rates for 2012-13?

Hello everybody, I was browsing through some posts from last year and I came up upon a few talking about acceptance rates and how they where a record low and all. Meaning that 2012-2013 will be as or even more competitive than last year. I’m not sure on any of these things, but it makes sense. If any one has any article or knowledge to share, could you please post it. Oh, and do international students seeking FA have a lower acceptance rate?

Thanks everyone.

pasted from another thread:

"It is in part due to foreign students paying full tuition that enables financial aid to be available for domestic students. This is not unique to U.S. schools. That’s how it works in schools/universities all over the world.

It is very difficult, if at all possible, for foreign students to get financial aid from a U.S. school. I would check with the school first to see if you are even eligible for consideration for financial aid, before you go through all the trouble (and cost) of applying to the school."

I would think that if attending BS is possible ONLY if you receive FA, then as an int’l candidate it would be unattractive for the school to admit you and dilute their yield rate.

Aww, thats a bummer, thanks for telling, its better for me to know then not to know…

any one else has anything to say, about FA or acceptance rates?
