Exciting to see the acceptances begin!!
Dumb question, but do they send out acceptance letters during the weekend? Or only weekdays?
We have received prescreen results that were emailed on the weekend. Not sure about acceptances. I just assumed that they load up a bunch of emails in their content management/email system and schedule them all to go out at a specific time.

Also - my daughter needs a roommate. She would hate that I am doing this, but anyone with a daughter attending Berklee who also needs a roommate, maybe we can connect them and they can see if they are well suited? She doesn’t want to “leave it to chance”.

Hi all - Our S just started the audition process in late Jan/Feb: UCLA, Vanderbilt, CU Boulder, UC Irvine, and UCSB. He decided to not go in person to Chapman and declined Long Beach since he decided he did not want to attend. I assume he doesn’t hear anything until March/April? It’s nervewracking to know some students already know! Thanks for the info!

Hi @ViolinInOurHouse : Back in 2018, based on my email records, UCLA came in around 1st week of March, and CU Boulder around the 20th of March. So in about 2-3 weeks you should start hearing from schools. Best Wishes to you and everyone else that is auditioning and waiting !
Just a heads up for MM students- D put our home address as her permanent address on the applications, and the Jacobs acceptance package came here yesterday instead of school. So parents beware and students, be sure to alert your parents to watch the mail. Also don’t forget to check your portals (which she has not been doing)…

Did anyone hear from Michigan? Apparently acceptances for MT and theater students have been coming in and I wasn’t sure if the same was true for music students. I know the last voice auditions were last weekend so it wouldn’t be a stretch for acceptances to be coming in now. Just a heads up, the MT students have been getting calls if they were accepted, so keep your ringers on!
@Elegie17 Wouldn’t be surprised if results are coming out by studio…so timelines may vary. D and her clarinet friends got results on Friday (email to check portal). Thrilled to report that UMich SMTD is a yes!
