Acceptances indicative of future results?

Hi all,

I’m in the fortunate position of being accepted to some top 25 schools. While I realize I should probably just count my blessings, I am curious as to what my results may predict for future decisions.

SAT - 2290 (750 CR, 710 M, 800 W)
GPA - 4.0 UW
11 APs/CC courses
Founder and President of various ECs, having earned and raised a combined total of 20k
Won multiple national/regional awards in the arts
Solid essays
Great recs
No hooks, no aid

Accepted (there are others, but I’m just listing the “big” ones):
UVA (OOS)
UCLA

Waitlisted:
UChicago
WashU

Rejected:
Stanford REA (though I’ve increased my SAT, rewritten my essays, and won more significant awards since then)

Based on these results, what do you think I can expect from the likes of some Ivies, Duke, UCB, and Georgetown? Thanks!

I would say there is no correlation between decisions between any of the schools that one can apply to.

My guess would be a “no” or WL from HPYMC with possibles from the other Ivies. UCB is an in and DUke and GT , say one a WL, one an in.

Moonman: I realize there is no direct correlation between any of the school I have listed; I just want some sort of gauge. Thanks!

cptofthehouse: I sincerely appreciate your reply. Though I would love to know some of your reasoning  of the Ivies I’m most concerned about Yale, Brown, and Dartmouth.

To add, I just received an acceptance to the Honors Program at Boston College.
