Accepted even though declined... What??

<p>Today I received a letter from UCLA's Financial Aid Office for a "UCLA Scholarship Recognition Award." The letter said "Congratulations to you on joining the Bruin Family!!" and "As a new Bruin we wish you the very best..." and "Welcome to UCLA!", implying that I've accepted UCLA, even though I just sent in my Statement of Intent to Register to UC Berkeley just yesterday... </p>

<p>What does this mean?</p>

<p>yea i got this too. It doesnt mean that you've accepted their offer though. If you look at the top of the letter, the date is March 30, 2007. Admissions came out on March 29th in the evening. Dont worry!</p>
