<p>Hi I am a high school senior with a 3.0 weighted gpa. I was in my schools magnet program for two years and have taken over 7 honors classes in my four years in high school.
I have 464 service hours and played football all four years as well as ran track for two years.
My SAT scores are
CR 610
Math 570
Writing 560
I applied about a week and a half ago to UCF and want to know realistically what my chances are to just be accepted. It is my first choice and they have the major i am really interested in. I also qualify for 75% bright futures scholarship

<p>UCF has become my dream school, I love it! Please chance me on the statistics I have so far. I am a junior in high school.</p>
<p>-3.4 UW GPA, haven’t taken AP or honors because of the way my schools program works. may take an honors next year to boost my GPA, though.

<p>@ Alex, I applied for fall too, but if you go into my ucf on the left there is a “reactivation form” link or whatever. Just print & fill it out and mail it. I just sent mine in last week. They say “they consider you for both terms” so you don’t really NEED to, but in my situation I wanted to show them that I’m serious about getting in and I’m not so sure I trust that lol. But in your situation since it’s just your GPA that’s low and you have pretty good scores, I’m sure they will consider you for summer… but send it in if you are unsure. They also might just defer you for fall since you are boderline, but with summer you should be IN. So if you want to just get in and stop stressing then send it in. & yeah, I didn’t realize your GPA was that low but you’re in for summer most likely . The worst thing they’ll prolley do is defer you for midterm grades or w.e which is better than for test scores imo . As long as you did pretty good you’re in.</p>
<p>@ As21608 its really hard to chance you without test scores. Almost impossible. But since your a junior, your weighted looks decent, and as long as you make at least 500 in each section you’re in forsure to atleast summer. For fall a little higher in both.</p>
<p>hey mayday. i just talked to my counselor and she said my grade forgiveness had not taken action yet. freshman year i completely failed algebra 2 honors and took it again the next year and got all A’s. she said with those f’s erased my gpa might jump to a 3.3 3.4, so could i get your thoughts one last time on my chances for fall?</p>

<p>You’re prolley in. If not then you’ll just be deferred like I said for grades and if they’re good then you should be in. But don’t take my word for it lol, I can only infer based upon the info i’ve obtained from this board, my situation, and friends that have gotten in but ya, that’s what I think.

<p>When did you hear back, CTommasini? We have almost the same stats, except my SAT is high, but I’m not a member of the Marching Band, nor did I do IB, but I still feel like you’re a good base for me!</p>
<p>I heard back early this month and I had applied back in November like the week before Thanksgiving Break</p>

<p>E-Mail them and make sure they have everything. They have a bad reputation in Florida for being disorganized in the admissions office around this time so just to be sure. But don’t get brought down by no reply yet, if I got in with my stats, you guys should be fine!</p>
