Accepted Fall 2014 Transfer interested in New "Tau Sigma" project upon arriving at Cornell Thread

Thank you for your interest.

Congrats on getting accepted in to Cornell University; Here is Tau Sigma’s website, by the way, it should make for some good inspirational as well as motivational reading: http://www.tausigmanhs.org/</a>

So far, I don’t think Cornell has a chapter yet. If I am correct, then WE can start one come Fall 2014.

All inputs and views are welcomed. We could do half the planning/discussion here pending till when we meet each other.

Great idea and certainly a positive beginning!

Thank you @beaccepted2014. The following sound like a good course to fight. Please spread the word.
Objectives of a Tau Sigma Chapter…
…address the current lack of recognition of outstanding academic achievement of transfer students.
…provide motivation for the academic excellence of all incoming transfer students.
…enhance the reputation of all transfer students.
…provide a common bond among transfer students.
…promote the involvement of transfer students in the college or university to which they transfer.
…form a group of students who can help the college or university address and meet the needs of incoming transfer students.

I checked out that website link, it looks like Cornell doesn’t have a chapter set up yet. I like the idea!

You are right @concerto95, I researched the site earlier but I didn’t want to ignore the fact that someone might already be doing some off-the-record work in this regard. Again, thanks for your support, it sure means a lot. Please spread the word.
