**Accepted NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering Class of 2018**

Hey guys! Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU’s school of engineering! I’m creating this thread specifically for the engineering students. If you have any questions or concerns or whatever it is, we shall chat here! I am a first year Chemical Engineering student and there’s A LOT about Poly you may want to know before heading here. Just to make sure you guys know that the School of Engineering is at the Brooklyn Campus along with NYU CUSP and NYU Tisch’s Game Center. However you all are free to head to the main campus and participate in all campus activities, clubs, gyms, library, Kimmel, etc.

Hey, I’m applying EDII for poly.
Since poly would be a part of NYU in 2014, is admission harder now? Or do they still look for the same stats as previous years?

Again it depends on who is applying and how many applications but you still need worthy stats to apply.

thanks nyuengineer. im bit nervous but i think i have a decent shot

You guys will be fine!

Was accepted through ED II with huge scholarship offer!

Hello, I have a question to ask. I received my acceptance letter through mail today; however, there was no scholarships offers. Does that mean that I will not receive any scholarships?

@ShineGrey

I didn’t get my acceptance letter(mail) yet. You should be able to check for any scholarship offer through NYU albert portal.

@Spirral
Thanks for the reply Spirral :slight_smile: I just checked my Albert Portal and it says that my award access is not available. Do I have to accept the admissions offer first before I can check up on any offers?

@ShineGrey

Nope. You should try contacting the admission office.

@Spirral Thanks for all the help!

You have to wait until they process your FA thing first.

Hey I got accepted to NYU and BU engineering and i am really unsure about which to attend… I mean BU is ranked higher in engineering whereas NYU is ranked higher overall. But I heard that the workload is super intense at NYU and that most students can’t take it… Is that true?
Lastly are you happy at NYU?
