Does anyone know the difference between the color and black&white versions? The catalog just says the b&w one has “limited uses,” but I don’t know if that I means I can’t use it for the dining commons or dorms or or as a debit card or what.

Yeah, I think that’s what it means. It’s probably just an ID card for school stuff and to get on the bus for free.

You pretty much can’t do anything that would involve swiping the card-i.e., using it at the dining commons, as a debit card, et cetera.
