Accidentally called Georgia Tech the wrong name on the application. (Chances?)

Hi, I submitted an application for Georgia Tech October 15 but just realized I had made a mistake. On the question where it asks why I’m interested in Georgia Tech, I mostly used Georgia Tech, but the first time I said Georgia Tech University. Do you think it will be an issue?

The first sentence goes: "I am interested in attending Georgia Tech University because of its renowned engineering program. "

The other two times I just used Georgia Tech, will this lower my chances of acceptance?

fyi I have a 4.0125 weighted GPA, 3.575 unweighted GPA, Calc BC score of 4, AB subscore of 5, sat scores of M: 770, CR: 610, W: 580, Math level 2: 750, physics: 740.

Thanks

Tbh, I don’t think it is going to be a deal breaker, technically, Georgia Tech IS a University.

I think it’s only really worrisome if you leave some OTHER college’s name in an essay. I’m guessing colleges hate that (but see it a lot)!

To make you feel better, search within CC for the now legendary “clam fart” mistake, circa 2009. One student, fooling around with her Common App extracurriculars list one day typed in the phrase “clam fart” as one of her extracurriculars. No other words, just that on that line. AND FORGOT TO REMOVE THE PHRASE BEFORE SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION TO A SCHOOL!

I believe the story had the happy ending that she was admitted to the school anyway.

Hope you have the same good luck, and don’t lose any sleep over this!

How about my chances for admission? I have a pretty low writing and critical reading, but I am a passionate swimmer and a very successful one at that. I’m part of the ACE Mentor Program (engineering club) and National Honor Society.
