My daughter is going to Durban, South Africa to do volunteer work this summer.
She wants to stay near Natal University and King Eward hospital.
Does anyone know the type of accommodation available there?</p>
<p>She is going all by herself, so I am very worried about the places available for visiting volunteer students.

<p>Is she going through a programme? Or is she only in contact with King Edward? I wouldn’t advise the UKZN res because it’s not too great. Try find out if she can stay at a local school (there are many female schools in the area with small boarding houses). I’m sure they will be able to help her out regarding a place to stay. Otherwise try contact UKZN and see if they know any students who will be willing to host, I know that this is a common thing and that some students haves hosted volunteers in the past.
