Accommodations for Dental Admissions Test

Do any of you have experience with the likelihood of receiving testing accommodation for the DAT? My son had accommodation for the SAT, but the DAT rules are short and vague. He has a reading disability, but generally only has problems finishing time crunched tests like the SAT. So, also, I’d like to know if the DAT is as time crunched as the SAT. Thanks!

This has been litigated in California for the MCAT’s. Initially, all accommodations were denied. The Disability Rights Advocates in Berkeleytook up the case on behalf of several LD students and won. I believe you can find the decision on their website. In any case, they’d be good people to contact about the DAT’s.
