<p>Guten Abend, I’m currently a freshman accounting major and mathematics minor at Belmont University. I am highly interested in an accounting career, but am curious if the location of my college would at all hinder my chances of entry-level employment at a top accounting firm (i.e. lack of active recruitment from my university or biased toward local colleges nearer to their corporate headquarters). Assuming that my GPA remains a 3.5-3.7 and I acquire several summer internships and continue my volunteer activities, are my chances slim?</p>
