Accredited HS Dutch Correspondence Course

I am combing the internet trying to find a HS level course in Dutch and thought someone here might steer me in the right direction.

My friend’s daughter has a lovely international background. She spent her early years in South Africa, then moved to the Netherlands and was quite successful there homeschooling. Now she is in the US and needs to compete two credits of the same foreign language in order to graduate from HS and apply to college. She is fluent English, German and Dutch. I’m trying to find a way for her to get approved credits in these languages, starting with Dutch, but am not coming up with anything. Courses need to be accredited. Any help much appreciated!

I think you might have more success with German. The Netherlands is a small country (16 million people) and most people are bi- or tri-lingual (English is most common 2nd language, followed by German). With the exception of the deep south, most Dutch students start English in early primary years and are fluent by high school.

Thank you. Yes, we’ve come to the conclusion that she’ll have to start with German at least. Not too many Dutch I courses out there!
