Acronyms- Key to the summer programs?

Sorry I’m new, and a bit confused about all the acronyms for the summer programs.
COSMOS, MITES, SSP, LSW, SuMAC, etc. Please help a newbie, and others who may be too shy to ask what they all stand for. Thanks!

COSMOS: California State School of Mathematics and Science – refers to a number of programs at a couple UCs in California. <a href=“COSMOS summer[/url] - Google Search”>COSMOS summer - Google Search;

MITES: Minority Introduction To Engineering and Science <a href=“MITES – MIT Introduction to Technology, Engineering and Science”>MITES – MIT Introduction to Technology, Engineering and Science;

SSP: Summer Science Program – there are a number of programs with similar names, but I believe the most famous (and probably the one you’ve seen) is the celestial research program. http://www.summerscience.org/home/index.php

LSW: Haven’t heard of this one; google doesn’t show anything either.

SUMaC: Stanford University Mathematics Camp http://math.stanford.edu/sumac/faq.html

You could just try googling the names; I personally wasn’t sure where COSMOS was.
