Agreed. It does totally suck, and if there wasn’t money on the line, I’d drop it…

Sucks how much power these testing companies have over the kids…

He earned the score once — he can earn it again.
There are lots of online tutors if he needs one.

Sometimes we just have to do what is practical even if it seems we should t have to

What happens after arbitration? If you always have the option to retake it even at the very end of the process, i would continue the fight.

Numerous stories such as these kept our family away from the ACT entirely. I am so sorry your college student is in this situation. Seek out other such stories – they are plentiful. I have been of the opinion for some time that there will eventually be a very serious and very successful class action lawsuit related to all of this.

A few tutoring refresher sessions can probably be done over FaceTime (or a similar service) if your son wants to go that route.

Sorry this happened.

I understand but I’m my book the score was earned!

Can he take the SAT instead — just to remove some of the bad karma?

The OP has indicated that the student is already in college. This fits the pattern with these shockingly frequent stories of outrageously
delayed accusations of ACT cheating.

Does anyone know the name or email address for the current CEO of ACT? Thanks

I would start with Janet Godwin, she answers her emails. ( no idea why the link image says COO, she is CEO AFAIK)
