It should have been easy, but all the geometry flew out of my head; I guess that happens when you don’t look at anything related to geometry for 2 years

the one question that ****ed me off was the one that asked about the diagonals of squares and one had a side the was l longer then the other. i did it over and over using different answers trying to figure it out, then after spending 5 minutes on it i realized that answer a was sqrt(2)L not sqrt(2L). They should make it more obvious that the l in not under the square root.

i agree with broncos. i spent so much unnecessary time on the diagonal question because of the L looking like it was in the radical. i get that they put answers to try to trick you, but to make a correct answer hard to read from the typing is unfair.

Does anyone know what letter choice the math teacher one was that had the answer of 5?

It was H
(10 char)

Did anyone else keep getting 6 for the teacher one and then just put 5 because it was the closest?

@Wisco
That would be me. I think quite a few of us got very lucky that 6 was not an option.

so we have about 36/60 answers? lets hope that the other 24 questions are the ones that are so easy nobody remembers them

Does anyone remember any of the other choices for the teacher question?

Was it something like 2,3,5,11,14? I honestly don’t know, but those numbers come to mind for some reason or another

HEY I thought it was consistent till 10 and then increased because he wasnt making profit till 10 cups.

The answer to the teachers was 5

started at -5 and didnt cross the x axis until till 10 because each cup was .5 so he would have to sell 10 cups to break even…

can someone explain the box one to me? i got 144 b/c with 11 lines horizontal and vertical you would make 12 boxes each row and 12x12=144

oh crap… did the lines count as the sides of the box?

@pkm2232, 11 lines x 11 lines, creates 10 boxes x 10 boxes inside. i had to draw it out to see. so thats area of 10x10 = 100

yeah… i thought it meant 11 lines IN the box… woops

They used a fancy word to ask for the inside boxes of the lines. Threw me off there for a while.

the last few question i found were really easy relatively to the rest of the test.

Dang this thread is sort of scaring me, I thought math was pretty easy, but after looking at this I think I missed at least 5

what was the question for 3x=21?
