ACT assay score

is ACT composite 35 with a assay score of 6 worth to send along with SAT 2160 with assay score of 8?

Yes, send the ACT score. The 35 ACT would convert to a higher SAT score than your 2160. Most schools don’t take the essay score that seriously–they understand that it is hard to write anything decent in 25-30 minutes–and you might have been unlucky with the essay topic, too.

or an assay topic for that matter…

I agree with atomom. The 35 is far more rare than the 2160 on the SAT, so it will be noticed. And if the reading subscore is high, that could help counter the low essay score.

If you really think it’s an anomaly, you could pay a small fee to have the essay re-graded, but I’m not sure it’s worth it. I doubt the scores change very often.
