ACT Composite of 29?

i have ACT composite of 29 and 1970 on SAT1
I also have some good extracurriculums that are related to the field i will be going into like neuroscience/biology related.

How hard will it be to get accepted to Johns Hopkins for Early Decision?

It’s great that you are involved in extracurriculars relevant to what you want to study. However, admission to JHU has gotten extremely competitive over the years; luckily, applying early will give you an edge. Though scores certainly aren’t everything, I’d say that around a 2100 SAT score or a 31-32 ACT score would make for a qualified applicant. Of course that may not necessarily be the case. I just know that my sister got into JHU a few years ago with an SAT score in the high 2100s. Good luck; I love JHU, too! :)

Thanks for the reply!! but will the 750+ in math2, bio and chem compensate for 29?

A girl I went to a conference with over the summer was accepted early decision to JHU with a 29 ACT–need I add she had a well-rounded profile, but it’s not impossible with this score. Early decision does help in your favor.

i really dnt wanna write it again. have so many other things to prepare
like math2,chem and bio subject tests, national biology contest and 2more chem contests, from which I have to get awards.

i’ve actually heard that applicants are more qualified in Early Decision…
