ACT Crash Course books- any good?

Are books like these worth buying and studying? Or are they useless?

princeton review’s Crash Course for the ACT: The Last-Minute Guide to Scoring High:

I have four weeks until the September 12 date and I have to raise my score by AT LEAST three points, and this is my last chance. Any other ideas for raising my score with less than a month to go? Thanks.

3 weeks is plenty of time, IF you practice daily, time yourself and analyze your errors on practice tests. The Real Act, and How to Increase your reading score in 3 min/day…both solid reinforcers for a 3 point jump with alot of daily dedication to getting the timing down, and practice the tests everyday!!!

thanks! any other opinions?

what kind of score increase are you looking for?
I am also trying to do something like this, but I’ve never taken the ACT, so I don’t know what I’ll get the first time around.
