I took the SAT two times and got 1790 on the second one. I decided to take the ACT instead this time. I’m a High School graduate (2011).

I used to really go mad at the time limit for the SAT, but now after doing a few ACT practice tests, I get an easy 3-4 extra minutes on EACH section on the SAT when doing practice tests.

Why is the ACT so time pressured?

Anyway, that isn’t my real question. I’m aiming for a 29 composite on the ACT and the Science section is killing it. I always miss a whole passage (out of the 7). And even with missing the passage, I still get mistakes! I get around 24-25. What can I do about this? My test is on the 22nd this month.

I’m getting better at reading (my SAT CR always sucked: 490, 510); and that’s probably because I’m reading as fast as I can and this time the whole passage first. Still, 26-27 range.

In English I finish the 75 questions and have around 3-4 minutes left, but I get 27s. I can improve if I practice a lot these 4 days though.

Math is my advantage. I’m hoping for a 32.

You think I can get the 29 ACT composite this 22nd?
