<p>What score would you get if you got 10 wrong on the ACT English section.
I am not sure what the essay is out of but suppose you got a 10 or a 12 for your essay?</p>
<p>Well, the essay score has no “real” baring on your English ACT score itself, but it does influence the Writing Composite score. For example, on my ACT I scored a perfect on the multiple choice but only an 11 on the essay, and thus my English score was 36 but my combined Writing score was 35.</p>
<p>As for 10 wrong, I think that comes out to a 28? Not really 100% sure though, sorry.</p>
<p>Around 28 seems right. This section was actually my strongest on the ACT.</p>
