<p>It’s my first time taking the ACT, and I’m wondering - if I explain myself clearly and write well, would it be okay to take a moderate or nuanced position on the essay? I understand that they want us to take a clear position and support it, but is it alright if mine is slightly different from those offered in the prompt, as long as it clearly answers the question?
