ACT help!!!!

I’m currently a junior at VCU finishing up a general science degree. I’m trying to get into their accelerated nursing program ( i didnt have any luck with traditional, i’ve applyed 3times!!) My SATs werent very high(i’ve taken them 3 times)the reading and math combined scores were just 880 :frowning: I’ve taken the ACT twice and scored 21 then 20. I need at least 25 or little higher to be considered. I’ve done the practice tests and i brought the kaplan book. I dont want to spend money on one of those specail prep classes for high school material, when i’m 3 semesters from graduating. Does anyone have an suggestions on how to get my ACT scores up? I’m not aimming for 36, just between 25-29. Its not an Ivy league.lol

Thanks

Princeton Review book is great. Just keep doing practice tests and looking over basic grammar and math skills. For reading and science, you just have to practice.

I’m a huge fan of Barron’s books, myself. All you need to do is sign yourself up for a test about 2 months in advance and complete all of the material in a good study guide, and you should be golden.
