I have taken the act 3 times and have scored a 29, 30, and 29. My highest scores were English:35 reading:33 math:27 and science:26. I really want a 32 composite and this coming Saturday is my last time taking it. Do any of you have any tips, tricks, or strategies that could help me on those sections? Thanks!
I’m taking it this Saturday too and I am basically in your exact situation I scored 33 Eng, 33 Reading, 23 Science, and 25 Math. For Science, go straight to the questions and read the passages quickly, like just glance over them. I scored 27 today on a practice, but I understood my mistakes. I think I can get around 30-33 on science. For math, just find out what you’re doing wrong. Understand it, it’s not that hard. I’ve just been so lazy, and unfortunately for meI just haven’t cared about basic math which I pretty stupid and doesn’t make any sense given that I am taking AP Calc BC this upcoming year. But yeah lol, good luck, Hopefully we both do good!
@sarajessica jesus, I would have stopped after hitting 30. Colleges really hate it when you take it more then twice. Atleast the elite ones.
Can you suggest a good practice site for online help? How do you know which ones you got wrong and which ones you need to work on? pretty illiterate on this stuff, thanks.
Well with a 30 C you shouldn’t consider elite regardless
