Should I take the ACT or SAT again for Ivies. I got a 1460 on the SAT with a 710 R&W and a 750 Math. On the ACT I got a 34.25 with a 33 Writing, 34 Reading, 34 Math, and 36 science. I didn’t study for either of these tests but I am a senior and the next SAT date is October 6th and next ACT date is October 27th which falls very near admission time. Should I bother taking either of them again or should I just focus on writing college apps? I believe I could get in at least 40 hours before both the test days and improve to mid 1500’s or high 35/low 36. Thank you
No reason to retest unless you’re looking at schools the level of MIT/Cal Tech.
Are you a senior? If so, no. Focus on your apps.
Yes I am a senior and I am thinking of applying to schools like Harvard and Yale but no MIT or Cal tech
