ACT or SAT?

<p>I don’t know whether I should take the ACT again. How do these two scores compare? And more importantly, how hard is it to get your ACT score up?</p>

<p>Best SAT breakdown (after considerable prep and taking it twice):
2000/2400
Math-630
Reading-670
Writing-700</p>

<p>June ACT score (no prep whatsoever, first time even seeing the test)
Composite: 30
English: 35
Math: 27
Science: 27
Reading: 32</p>

<p>Given that your ACT sections are unbalanced (some high, some low), I would suggest taking it again and really focusing on them. Most schools create a composite superscore of your best sections from different test dates.</p>
