ACT Predicament

okay so here’s the story. I have taken the ACT three times already. The first time was just completely random, no studying. the breakdown was:

E: 35 R: 33 S: 34 M: 31

My overall composite was a 33. I went into the test the second time studying just a little bit. Breakdown was:

E: 36 R: 31 S: 33 M: 33

Overall composite…33. I just took the December test, and I studied for about three weeks. And I studied a decent amount. Breakdown:

E: 36 R: 33 S: 31 M: 33.

This combined for an overall composite of, you guessed it, 33.

I am applying to some rather large schools. At least two of the HYPS. And moreover, it has become an issue of pride for me. Does anyone have any tips for me? Should I just forget about it all and see what happens? Or should I give it another shot?

Better yet, I’m thinking about taking the SAT.

Please help me!
