Hello everyone!

I am interested in joining this program for my Junior and Senior year of high school. It is a free program in the state that I am living in but is based entirely on application. Trying my hardest to increase my chances of getting in, I took the ACT in April and scored well, but it was not quite up to par with what I had wanted. The average Math subscore for the applicants was a 32. I, however, only scored a 29. I will be taking the ACT again sometime in the Fall (I have not decided which one works best with my schedule). My scores are as follows:

Composite: 31
English: 33
Mathematics: 29
Reading: 29
Science: 32

What books are best for content, and what books are best for tips and tricks? Also, what books should I most definitely avoid wasting money on? Are there any books I should consider checking out from my local library if they have them? I’m trying not to spend too much money because it is my parents, and they already spend a lot on me.

I would really like to improve my scores as much as possible. How much time should I dedicate each day/week?

Thank you for your time and consideration of helping a fellow student in need!
