Act preparation in 7 days!

Ok I just took the SAT which I am fairly good at, but I never got a chance to study ACT stuff cuz I was soo busy with the SAT. Can anyone recconend the top 2 book to study from. I hear the red book is really good. Any other book or is that all I need? Thanks everyone

I’m just using the red book. Which they say has three real ACT tests used in 2008.

That’s what I have but a lot of kids are reccomending Princeton and McGraw hill so I’m not sure which 1 else to get

Im using the red book and Princeton Reviews ACT Crash Course. The crash course will give you 10 test taking strategies that you can learn in less than a week. Combined with the Red book practice tests it should work perfectly

^^ thanks A LOT. That helped me so much :)

Oh and also with the red book the most helpful part is that, if you get the answer wrong they have a very detailed explanation on why the correct answer is correct, and why the incorrect is incorrect. Really helped me for the math portion.

Also look on Amazon for the red book I got mine for $4 bucks brand new, and it’s retailed at $25 bucks.

For AP English I need to read 3 books. Which 3 books should I read from these 5 books: Things fall apart. Pride and prejudice. The grapes of wrath. Candide. The color purple.*

Can someone who has read all 3 tell me their rankings/favorites?

@vappers why are you posting this on this thread? random much…
But go for Things Fall Apart and The Grapes of Wrath for sure, both are excellent reads… Then I guess I would choose the color purple… dont read candide…

haven’t read the others but Pride and Prejudice is undoubtedly AMAZING! I’d pick that one.
