I am going to be taking the ACT test this September and I really need help, especially in science section. I was thinking about taking the PV course for the ACT. Is it any good???

I am going to be taking the ACT test for the first time, I took a practice test and got a 25. I know, not a very good score.

I am not really familiar with the test and I just want to know if once you send your score to colleges do all the scores show like the SATs. (i mean the scores for more than one test date).

from what i understand the ACT is a lot less study-able than the SAT, so you’d probably better spend your time just doing practice tests to get the timing down. and no, you can pick which scores to send.

Hahaha… no…
Give me 5 minutes and I can change my scores to a 37 doing it that way. You have to register and specify colleges that you want to send to. Then the ACT company sends a report to those colleges as well as to you.

Just don’t choose any schools to send it to when you register. You can choose to send a test later on when you are satisfied with your scores. And yes you do have to pay a fee.

thank you girls or guys
i just got my score from a practice test from PR and i got a 22. I know, a really bad score, the best thing that i had was my writing which i got a 12…

so back to my question, is the princeton review class for ACT good or will one gain more by just doing practice test?
I know that there aren’t many practice tests out there so…

well, theres really no point in continuing this thread now since the test is only like 3 days away. But i’m using the PR book right now myself. The reading…holy crap…in the red book i understood what i was reading but not in the PR -_-
i hope i was just brain dead. You should have taken the tests from the Red Book (official guide) rather than PR.
