Does anyone know whether a 30 on the ACT will be decent for the NHS college? I’m looking probably into healthcare Management and Policy or International Health. Another problem, however, is that I got a 24 on science (yikes…I only got a 30 because I got 34 on math), and I got a B in AP Chem and precalc as a sophomore, but I have As in IB Biology and IB Calculus this year. Will the Bs and 24 hurt me a lot, or can I take SAT 2s in sciences to show that I am proficient, and that I love it despite messing up my sophomore year.

Well you have to take three SAT 2’s anyways, one in math and one in science for NHS. If you got a 30 on you ACT, despite getting a 24 on your science section, you must have done pretty good on the other sections. As you stand right now, your ACT might be a little too low, so try taking it again. You get choose what score report you send, and you have plenty of time take another ACT before you apply, you have time even take 2.

it’s a bit on the low side… esp the science section take it again if possible
