Just got my March ACT scores back…
English 35
Math 33
Reading 32
Science 35
Combined English/Writing 32
My other score was
English 34
Math 35
Reading 36
Science 29
Combined English/Writing 31
So superscore is 35.25 (welp so close to 36). I’ve taken the ACT 3 times now, should I retake if I want to get into schools like Claremont McKenna and Rice University? Is there a big distinction between 34/35/36?
Does the school superscore ACt? Because if not I’d retake it just so you can have a solid 35, if not 36 without the need for superscore.
Rice only looks at the composite, while Claremont McKenna superscores. I’m not really sure about the difference between a 34 and 35? Perhaps at this point it’s better to focus on GPA and extracurricular development. I’m also a student though, so maybe I don’t know best.
Don’t retake it, those scores are fine.
